Product Overview

The Six-Servo Vertical Low-E Glass Edge Deletion Machine is designed to remove the Low-E coating from the perimeter of glass before insulating glass assembly and sealing.

The servo-controlled system coordinates glass conveying, positioning and grinding-wheel movement. It can process rectangular glass as well as selected shaped and point-supported glass according to the production program.

The edge deletion width and processing speed can be adjusted for different glass dimensions, coating types and spacer requirements. Unequal edge widths and overlapping sections can be processed according to the selected configuration.

An automatic dust extraction system collects coating particles generated during processing. The grinding-wheel feeding mechanism is controlled by a motor to compensate for normal wheel wear and maintain a stable removal result.

The infeed and outfeed sections can operate independently, allowing the machine to connect with a vertical insulating glass production line.
